Understanding pharmacogenomics

After completing this module and its online counterpart, pharmacy technicians will be able to:    

• Understand the situations where pharmacogenomics are implicated
• Explain how genetic factors can influence the response to certain drugs
• Appreciate the ethical concerns relating to DNA tests and pharmacogenomic testing.
