Menopause: part six

The final module in our series looking at menopause, focusing on Continuous Professional Development.

Welcome to the sixth module in our series looking at menopause. This module reproduces some content from the Menopause: an introduction for pharmacy professionals programme with the kind permission of the NHS-funded Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education (CPPE), and is designed to give you an overview and better understanding of this area of practice. For more detailed information on this topic, please view the full programme on CPPE’s website: bit.ly/4iWaVGX

Learning objectives

After reading this module, and the online learning from CPPE, pharmacy technicians will:

  • Have thought about how to record their CPD
  • Think about the support they provide
  • Feel confident empowering their colleagues in menopause support.

In this final section, you will create an action plan to put your learning about the menopause into practice to support people accessing your services. Before you start your action plan, take some time to reflect on what you have learnt.

You can also think about your own continuing professional development (CPD) and how you can support and educate your team to learn more about menopause.
