Plantar fasciitis

Many people may be unaware that the pain in their foot is actually plantar fasciitis, which takes time to heal.

Scenario

Pharmacy technician Vicky is chatting to regular customer Ian, who has some concerns about foot pain. “The pain has gotten worse over the last few months, and is particularly bad when I get up in the morning or after sitting at my desk all day at work,” he explains. “When I’ve been moving for a bit, it gets better, but I was at a gig the other evening and I was more or less limping on the way home because the pain in my heels was so severe. Do you think it will get better on its own, or should I see someone about it?"
