The Association of Pharmacy Technicians UK (APTUK) has cancelled its annual conference this year. The Association said that everyone involved was “truly disappointed as we see this event as the highlight of the professional calendar of events”, but that the decision was made with “health and wellbeing in mind”.
Delegates who had already paid for the event will be contacted in due course, as will those who had volunteered to speak at the event.
Looking for alternative ways to engage with the pharmacy technician community and APTUK members, the Association is hosting a series of virtual branch meetings and national webinars throughout the pandemic. The aim is to enable direct contact and interaction with members, encourage the sharing of best practice and receive communication on work being carried out on behalf of its members and the profession.
More information and future webinar dates will be announced on APTUK’s social media platforms and website.
