CPPE is encouraging pharmacy professionals to access HEE’s new Population Wellbeing Portal for a wealth of resources aimed at improving public health
Health Education England (HEE), working in collaboration with Public Health England; the Academy for Public Health for London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex; and the Faculty of Public Health, has developed a new Population Wellbeing Portal.
The Portal offers free access to professional development resources, training and education to help healthcare professionals deliver improvements in public health, minimise risks and help the public live long and healthy lives. It brings together materials from various organisations, including Health Education England and Public Health England.
A wealth of resources
The Portal also links to materials on HEE’s e-Learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) platform that covers numerous public health topics such as alcohol, sexual health, sepsis, mental health and many more. The e-LfH platform aims to provide high-quality e-learning materials to support the training of the NHS workforce across the UK. A full list of e-Learning for Healthcare programmes can be found on the CPPE website.
If pharmacy professionals are new to e-LfH then they will need to register using the link from CPPE, which makes future access simple and easy through the CPPE website. Once registration is complete the e-LfH materials can be accessed immediately.
Positive interventions
The Population Wellbeing Portal is free to access for anyone who can positively impact public health and wellbeing. Registration is required for the majority of the content so that pharmacy professionals can track their learning, provide feedback on sessions and gain certificates of completion.
