What is Panadol Capsule?
Panadol Capsule is the first liquid capsule paracetamol in Great Britain. Expanding Panadol’s trusted portfolio of tablets and soluble formats, the new liquid paracetamol capsules format (16 pack) has been designed to provide pain sufferers with rapid absorption and a targeted pain relief action.
What are the benefits?
The new liquid paracetamol capsules offer the trusted benefits of the Panadol portfolio, now in a new format. With the majority of pain sufferers prioritising speed and efficacy of relief when shopping for pain relief,1 Panadol Capsules will be there to meet those needs, offering up to 40 per cent faster absorption compared to standard paracetamol.
These liquid paracetamol capsules are suitable for five types of pain: headache, backache, migraine, sore throat, and period pain.
How does it work?
The liquid paracetamol capsules equip pain sufferers, particularly those who may have struggled with traditional tablets, with an alternative format.
What is the recommended dosage?
Adults and children, 16 years and over: one or two capsules up to four times daily as required. Max. eight capsules in 24 hours. Children 10-15 years: one tablet four times daily as required. Max. four tablets in 24 hours. Children under 10 years: not recommended. Take with enough water. Stop treatment if pain lasts longer than five days or fever lasts longer than three days and seek doctor’s advice. Doses should not be repeated more frequently than every four hours.
Available from community pharmacies?
The new liquid paracetamol capsules will be available in community pharmacies from February at RRP/MSRP £4.75 (incl. VAT) for a 16-pack.
